Somer Found!

Seven year old Somer Thompson , whom disappeared on Monday while walking home from school, has been found, but sadly not found alive. Somer's remains were found in a landfill buried under a ton of trash. Investigators identified teh remains as Somer's from teh clothes she was wearing to the birthmark she had on her left shin. Sheriff Rick Berseler had to deliver the sad news of teh find to Somer's parents. He says that was the hardest call he has ever had to make. Thursday morning there will be a proper autopsy to properly identify the body and find the cuase of death. Family and friends of the Thompson gathered around there house the day the news was released to have a small memorial for Somer. The family of her are grevieing heavily after hearing the news.
This is a sad sad situiaton. It had to have been hard as heck for teh family to find this out. I can't help but think why the heck someone would do that. Kill a little girl and throw her out like trash. What a horrible idoit.

Obama's Afganistan Trouble

Obama has been working hard to come up with a good war plan for taking on Pakistan and Afganistan. He has been meeting with his generals and trying to come up with a solution. General Stanley McCyrstol is the head honchco in Afganistan. He is pushing Obama to send about 40,000 more troops to Afganistan to help him out more. Vice President Biden wants to assure people that they plan on killing off most of the terroists there. Obama announced that is one of their main objectives.
I think that if i was in Obama's shoes i woudl try to knock of as many of them as I could. If we pull out theres a chance that there will be another twin tower incidents, if we keep staying with it theres a chance we can knock off the leaders and theres a chance we can get this whole thing over with.

Desert Cross

In the Mojave Desert there stood a wooden cross built in memory of the world war I vets that died there. But now people are making a scene about the cross being there. The Supreme Courts started to work on teh case but ened up giving it over to a lower court who ruled teh cross to be simply taken down. Vets rom taht war and the ones that put the cross up are extremely upset about it. Now this whole case is about whether the goverment should be able to take down relgious things, like the cross.
I think this is just a bunch of poop. Who really cares that a cross was standing up there. Its not liek its hurting anything, its not going to jump out at anyone and eat them. Its just standing there like a tree. I think people bring up problems like this just so they can get noticed. The Courts really had no right to take it down for it goes against the freedom of religion right.

Green Jobs

Jennifer Grahom plans on creating new jobs in Michigan by bringing in 'Green Jobs' or enviromentally safe ones, like wind energy. By doing this she hopes that it will be able to help out over the thousands of unemployed Michigan workers.
I think this is a good idea that she is doing this. Green works are the way of the future and we need to jump on the band wagon now orit could be to late. One problem though is taht people need speacial training for such things and alot of people now don't have it, so they will need to get alot of training for it. Also can it really create enough jobs to get Michigan out of this slump?

Handguns

The Supreme Courts are now considering a ban on handguns nation wide. Chicogo was the first to put a band on hand guns and now it has become an example to other states that maybe that could be a good idea. There is though the thing about this being against teh 2nd amendant but really it isn't. All that it does is restrict it. They aren't saying that they are going to take the guns away just limit the use, buying, and storing rights of them. The court says that most but not all rights laid out by the constitution are checked. 44 states constituions have been tweeked slightly. Most states are not happy about this and especialy the rifle association and its allies are not really pleased.
I think it is a good idea to limit hand guns. Those are the guns most used in murders and violance so I think its good to limit them.
